About
The Israel Shopping Centres Group was established in 2004 within the scope of the activities of its parent company, the British Israel Investments Group Ltd., in the field of income producing real estate in Israel.
Upon its establishment, the Group began to purchase commercial centres considered as having high improvement potential, that were in operation then and are being operated today under the ownership and management of the Group.
Today, the Israel Shopping Centres Group has 18 shopping and commercial centres from Nahariya down to Eilat, including: the Grand Kenyon in Haifa, the HaGadol Shopping Centre in Petach Tikva, the Rehovot Shopping Mall, the Bilu Centre, and others, and is thus defined as Israel’s leading group in the field of shopping and commercial centres with a total estimated area for letting of about 300,000sq.m. All the chain’s shopping centres attract about 250,000 visitors daily.
The Israel Shopping Centres Group considers itself part of the community, invests much resources and holds unique activities under the banner of “I also care! - The Israel Shopping Centres Group for the sake of social awareness”.
The following wide range of activities took place within the scope of the Group’s annual activities, including:
• A national co-operation with the non-profit organisation “Pitchon-Lev” within the scope of which about 3 tons of clothing and toys were donated to the needy.
• Activities in participation with the Council for a Beautiful Israel for increasing awareness regarding quality of the environment and to encourage the use of disposable bags.
• A photography exhibition that took place at all the shopping centres in the chain under the banner of “New immigrants photograph Israel”, the purpose of which was to promote works of art among new immigrants.
• A month of awareness on the subject of road safety in cooperation with The National Authority for Road Safety and the Hop! children’s television channel, within the scope of which a unique project was constructed that included a wide range of activities at the Group’s shopping centres.
The Israel Shopping Centres Group takes the welfare and respect of its customers very seriously, and has placed an emphasis on creating a quality purchasing, entertainment and free time experience for them, from the moment they enter a shopping centre until leaving it. To this end, the Group’s shopping centres have already begun work on upgrading and improvement: expanding the shopping centres, deploying a correct and varied mix, placing lighting in the car parks and allocating walk-ways for mothers with baby carriages, upgrading the toilets, and adjustments for improved invalid accessibility, that have gained the Group the Israel Prize for accessibility.
Within the scope of the trend of constant improvement and growth, the Israel Shopping Centres Group has been active over recent years, and will continue to do so in the future, to provide its customers with the ultimate recreation experience, through a pleasant environment, a correct mix of shops, and quality activities for children, youth and adults.
